Good Practices

Common Diarrhea - It's often treatable with simple rehydration, providing the patient with the necessary fluids and electrolytes.

Meds & Uses

Iodine - general disinfectant

Neosporin - prevent infections in lacerations

Benadryl Tabs and/or Gel - general allergy/irritation relief

Loperamide - anti-diarrhetic

Advil - non-steriod anti-inflammitory, minor pain relief, can also reduce fever

Tylenol - basically advil

Epi Pens (need perscription) - should be used immediately if you experience severe symptoms such as shortness of breath, repetitive coughing, weak pulse, generalized hives, tightness in the throat, trouble breathing/swallowing, or a combination of symptoms from different body areas such as hives, rashes, or swelling on the skin coupled with vomiting, diarrhea, or abdominal pain. Repeated doses of epinephrine may be necessary.

Albuterol Inhaler (need perscription) - used for asthma or recovery of the respritory system

Triamcinolone - used to treat the itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort of various skin conditions.

Ofloxacin - used for bacterial infections of the eye

Malarone - used to treat malaria

Zofran - prevent nausea and vomiting

Dramamine - prevent nausea, vomiting, and dizziness caused by motion sickness

Amoxicillin - used for bacterial infections such as chest infections and dental abscesses

Moxifloxacine - general antibiotic for that covers E. Coli, gastroenteritis, strep, pneumonia, staph, and atypical bacteria that many antibiotics are ineffective against.

Oxycodone - pain killer as effective as morphine or fentanyl, good tablets can last up to 12 hours

Prednisolone - Cortisone is an incredibly versatile drug. It can be used for a wide range of autoimmune diseases and skin conditions, but it also has emergency applications in management of acute asthma, hypersensitivity reactions, inflammatory swelling, various poisonings and envenomations. Prednisolone can be administered orally and used for children and elderly.

Diazepam - Calm people down. Also great for epileptic seizures, alcohol withdrawal and muscle relaxation when setting fractured bones.

Cortisone - Reduce pain, itching, and swelling. Don't use if you have a skin infection, eye infection, if you are trying to get pregnant, already are pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Monistat 7 - Treat yeast infections & reduce itching.
